Our History

Our Club began in 1994 as Flamingos and played indoor Netball at the Hamilton Hill Netball Centre. The Club was established by Sue Dobson, with the first official meeting being held in Rockingham.

In 1995 Flamingos joined the Fremantle Netball Association competition with two teams playing on the outdoor courts. Our uniform was a pink top and white skirt/shorts to resemble the Flamingo.

In 1996 (our second season) we won the SC1 Premiership at Gibson Park.

In 1998, we changed our name to Flames.

In 2003 we became an incorporated body.

In 2013 Flames, after club survey and research, we changed the uniform to a two piece, top and skirt in scarlet red/black/ice pink, ready to be worn for the 2014 season. Boys who played, were able to wear red shorts.
