Welcome to Flames Netball Club Inc. at Samson.

We are a community Club where everyone is welcome, we usually have anywhere between 6 and 10 teams in a season, and because we are a small club there is no grading. Our teams range from 7 yr old juniors to Seniors. Training is held at Samson Primary School netball courts. Our aim is to make netball participation accessible to all ages and to provide development pathways for Coaches and Umpires. Our fees are low, with instalment repayment options available. Our only fundraising is the option of payment of a Fundraising Levy of $30 later in the season, or participating in a Chocolate Drive. We usually have one Bunnings Sausage sizzle per season. This fundraising enables us to provide trophies and a Windup, free of charge, and contributes to the cost of umpiring.

We have been lucky to receive some Sponsorship contributions over the seasons which have helped us along the way.

Kidsport allowance assistance of $150 is available for your child through your Local Council if your income has been reduced and/or you have a health care card, or Pensioner concession card.

Our AGM is usually in the first week of the school Term 1, with registration meet and greet for new players being in the second week of the school Term 1. Netball registrations are now online via the PlayHQ registration platform.

Training is either Monday, Wednesday or Thursday night, depending on the Coach and players’ availability. This is usually discussed at the beginning of the season, when the team is finalised.
